10 Wintucket Cove Path is a beautiful, large and comfortable Cape farmhouse on 8.8 acres in exclusive Edgartown location on the Great Pond.

This wonderful home accommodates extended families with multiple living spaces and central A/C. The large tract of land surrounding the house with acres of lawns assures privacy and quiet for vacationing families. At home, families will enjoy the large patio and lawn area for barbeques, picnics and relaxation.

The main level of the 3,720 sf farmhouse has an open plan kitchen with lots of elbowroom for the enthusiastic cook. The kitchen connects to a spacious dining area with wide-board pine floors. The living room has a cozy wood-burning fireplace and an adjoining den/study that can be closed off with sliding pocket doors. The large master bedroom suite on the main floor has vaulted wood ceiling, pine floors, wood-burning fireplace, walk-in closet and a large private bath.

The second story has 4 large bedrooms, (3 with a king bed and 1 with 2 twin beds) and two bathrooms. On the main floor, there is an additional bedroom/play room with 2 twin beds. The basement has an additional bathroom with shower, pool table, air hockey, foosball, ping pong, PS3, PS4, TV, exercise bike and an elliptical machine.

Walk down a private path to the Edgartown Great Pond, known for being one of the most pristine and beautiful natural areas of the island with access to a secluded area on South Shore Beach.

Kayak from the property along 5 miles of shoreline or down to the Atlantic; enjoy miles of bike paths at the end of the road.

Take a short bike ride to Morning Glory Farm for locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables or ride two miles along beautiful, flat bike paths to Edgartown center.

Rental includes use of canoe, kayaks, bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, tennis rackets, boogie boards, etc.

On the Property

Find a large lawn area behind the house suitable for yard games - football, croquet, frisbee, etc. The acres of lawn in front will have a short 4 hole golf area for irons and putting (golf clubs in the garage). A volleyball or badminton area. A basketball hoop (every type of ball is in the garage.)

At the pond

Adirondack chairs. Fishing rods are in the garage - perch are plentiful and easily caught at or on the pond. A bird sanctuary is located just west of our pond access and behind a low dam - kayak in still water with swans, geese and ducks.

At the beach

Access across the pond to a secluded part of South Beach.

Tennis and Pickleball

Located a short bike ride away, free and open to the public at the Edgartown School. Two tennis courts are lined for pickleball and a net is in the garage. Other fee courts are available in Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven.

About Edgartown

Located in Edgartown, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Martha's Vineyard Preservation Trust Historic Buildings and Dr Daniel Fisher House are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Farm Neck Golf Club and Island Cove Miniature Golf.
